Chapter 1.6 – Birthdays!

The triplets got on extremely well with each other, and were often found together reading books, playing blocks, or just having a chat.

Meanwhile, Al had been promoted again at work, and Mysti found his new uniform incredibly alluring…

(See the hearts are purple? Does that happen often, or is it special? I’ve only ever had pink and red hearts before…)

The girls were very demanding, and needed teaching all their life skills so sleep was a rare thing in the Phoenix household right now.

Al and Mysti napped when they could, and they had a very good babysitter who helped out a lot (although they couldn’t help but hope none of their children grew up to be teenagers looking like that!).

Al had been transferred to another job where ‘his talents were better appreciated’ and paid a good lot more!

He would still come home and paint all day, trying to earn as much money as possible to build a new room for the kids.

Speaking of kids – Mysti was once again pregnant!

She was very happy, but they both hoped for a boy this time as three girls was more than enough, they both agreed!

Because of this, Al began working harder than ever – spending all his free time working up logic skills on the chess board.

Mysti was pleased with him, but worried he was overworking himself.

Soon the girls birthday came around, they were going to start school soon and were going to be children!

Cherrie kept her Tomboy style hair, and her fiery personality! She became more interested than ever in China, Chineese music and Sim-Fu and became a bit of a Mooch, she’d ask for pocket money from an early age to ‘save up for her big trip to China!’

Olive had always been a bit shy, and when she started school she became a bit of a loner she decided not to follow the herd. She also had trouble getting to sleep and she would wake at the slightest thing and sometimes had bad dreams – but she was happy, and even though she had few friends she still got on brilliantly with her sisters.

Plum was very unlike both her sisters, she became very pink and girlie, and more friendly than ever! She was always with a  huge group of friends at school. Although she developed the Unlucky trait, and anything that could go wrong would go wrong around her – but she didn’t let it get her down.

The girls were all very different, but all very loving and excited about the new baby! And to their delight, it was on their birthday that Mysti went into labour!

Will the baby be a boy?

And is Al working too hard?
